San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) is just around the corner, drawing fans from around the world to celebrate comics, games, anime, movies, and pop culture. Whether you have a badge or not, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the energy of SDCC this summer.
This guide covers everything you need to know before heading to San Diego: event dates, ticket access, must-see content, free outdoor activations like Petco Park, and essential parking & shuttle tips.
San Diego Comic-Con 2025 will take place from Wednesday, July 23 to Sunday, July 27. The event kicks off with a Preview Night on July 23, giving badge holders an early look at the exhibit hall and select screenings. From July 24 to 27, the convention runs in full force with panels, signings, merchandise drops, cosplay showcases, and major announcements from leading entertainment studios.
The event is held at the San Diego Convention Center, located in the heart of downtown San Diego along the waterfront. This venue is the epicenter of Comic-Con, with Exhibit Halls, Hall H for major panels, Ballroom 20, and dozens of other meeting rooms. Surrounding the convention center are outdoor activations, themed pop-ups, and off-site events throughout the Gaslamp Quarter and Marina District.
Yes, a Comic-Con badge is required to access all indoor activities at the convention center. This includes the exhibit hall, major panels in Hall H and Ballroom 20, autograph sessions, and most official programming. Badge holders also receive a Comic-Con lanyard and bag, which are often collectible. Security checkpoints are stationed throughout the venue to verify badge access.
Badges for SDCC 2025 are officially sold out now. Originally, prices ranged from $55 to $75 per day, depending on the day and access level. Preview Night access was available only as an add-on with a 4-day badge purchase. Due to limited availability and high demand, badges typically sell out within minutes of opening to the public. Reselling is discouraged and strictly monitored by Comic-Con International.
If you have a badge, make time to explore the Exhibit Hall, where the biggest brands showcase their latest content and merchandise. Here are the top three booths drawing the most attention this year:
✔️Tip: Use the official Comic-Con app or exhibitor map to plan booth visits. Some exclusives require early sign-up or digital raffles.
If you’re aiming for big announcements and star-studded moments, Hall H is the place to be. While Marvel and Lucasfilm aren’t hosting panels this year, there are still major events worth lining up for:
✔️Tip: Hall H panels require early arrival—sometimes overnight camping—to guarantee entry. Check the schedule and plan ahead if you want to attend.
Even without a badge, you can enjoy SDCC 2025 through outdoor activations across downtown. Here are some of the biggest 2025 off-site events:
Most outdoor zones are walkable from the convention center. Expect lines during peak hours, so arrive early or late in the day.😉
Downtown San Diego gets packed during SDCC week, so booking daily parking in advance is a must. Use platforms like ACE Parking or Bestparking to find and reserve spots.
If you park farther away, you can connect using the free Comic-Con shuttle or the San Diego Trolley (MTS).
If you’re using public transit instead, here are the most convenient trolley-connected locations:
✔️Tip: Use the PRONTO app or card to pay for trolley fares. The trolley stops directly in front of the Convention Center and runs frequently throughout the day.

The Next Shift in Digital Marketing
Over the past year, one major trend has been shaking up the marketing industry: the transformation of search. While traditional search engines like Google continue to dominate traffic, the rise of AI-driven platforms is redefining visibility.
The core of this shift is the growing influence of answer engines—systems that generate direct, AI-curated responses instead of returning a list of links. This change is no longer theoretical. It is already reshaping how users interact with content, and how brands must adapt their digital strategies.
Answer Engine Optimization(AEO) refers to the process of optimizing content so that it is cited, summarized, or directly used as a response by AI platforms.
Whereas SEO focuses on improving rankings within a search engine results page (SERP), AEO focuses on being selected as the answer within platforms like:
These tools deliver answers without requiring the user to visit a website, marking a significant shift in content discovery—known as zero-click search.
Explore how ChatGPT and Gemini shape AI search experiences.
As of May 2025, ChatGPT recorded 5.24 billion monthly visits, making it one of the most-used websites globally—on par with platforms like Google and YouTube.
This level of usage signals more than a trend. It marks a shift in how people search.
Instead of browsing multiple links or comparing results, users now expect one clear, synthesized answer—delivered instantly by AI.
That’s why traditional SEO is no longer enough.
In AI-driven search, visibility isn’t about ranking first on a results page. It’s about whether your content can be found, interpreted, and cited by the system generating the answer.
We actively apply AEO strategies to ensure that our content is referenced by AI platforms such as ChatGPT and Perplexity. Below are examples of how our optimized content is appearing directly in AI-generated answers.
Search is no longer limited to link-based results.
As AI tools like ChatGPT become a default gateway for information, visibility is being redefined.
What we’re seeing now is the beginning of a new kind of competition—not just on search engines, but inside the answers themselves.
In this environment, content that lacks clarity, structure, or originality will be filtered out.
But AEO isn’t replacing SEO—it’s expanding it.
And as this shift accelerates, AEO will become not just a marketing tactic, but a core part of how brands shape digital presence.
